Construction Manager

Education and experiences required:

• High school diploma ten plus years site experience or Engineering degree with five plus years site experience preferred.

• OSHA 30 – Hour training for construction and for General Industry required.

• Proficiency in computer use and technical applications, strong written and oral communication skills, knowledge of manpower planning, budget controls, construction planning and methods, background in construction related regulatory issues, codes and standards, and union labor relations preferred.

Travel and Safety considerations:

• Travel to construction sites, customers, vendors, etc. is required.  Travel could exceed 60% depending on project activity and schedule. A home trip is allowed every three (3) weeks domestically depending on the site specific schedule and location.  For projects outside Continental United States, a home trip is permitted every four (4) weeks.

• Site visits, in-house assembly and testing, etc. may require the wearing of safety related equipment.
