Education /Experience
• JD from an accredited U.S. law school with excellent academic credentials and references
• Bar admission and active license to practice law in at least one state
• At least 5 years of relevant legal experience required, preferably a combination as an attorney in a law firm and as an in-house counsel in a global public company
• Preferred experience in commercial contract negotiation and drafting with ability to advise on risks and liabilities of transactions, and devise creative and practical legal solutions to meet business objectives
• Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information
• Proven experience interacting with all levels of corporate management
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Process-oriented with desire for constant improvement and development of best practices
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Hands on, team-oriented approach with flexibility and positive attitude
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment
